Model : GDY-1A+
Determines gross calorific value of solid and liquid fuels.
The GDY-1A+ Oxygen Bomb Calorimeter is a high-precision instrument for determining the gross calorific value (GCV) of solid and liquid fuels, waste materials, and biomass. It delivers essential energy content data for waste-to-energy evaluation, fuel quality control, and circular economy resource assessment.
Our center is equipped with a GDY-1A+ Oxygen Bomb Calorimeter, a robust isoperibol system for accurate heat of combustion measurement. The instrument combusts a sample under pressurized oxygen in a sealed bomb, measuring the temperature rise in a precisely controlled water jacket.
This provides direct quantification of the energy content of municipal solid waste, refuse-derived fuel, biomass, and industrial residues, supporting informed decisions in energy recovery, alternative fuel development, and waste management.
The calorimeter quantifies the total heat released during complete combustion at constant volume, reported as calorific value on a dry or as-received basis.
The oxygen bomb calorimeter provides critical energy content data for waste-to-energy, biomass utilization, and fuel quality control.
