Technical and economic feasibility assessment for establishing a construction and demolition waste recycling facility within the Atrium developments of TMG.

Project Overview

The project assessed the technical and economic viability of recycling construction and demolition (C&D) waste, with a focus on recovering valuable materials including concrete, brick, metals, and wood. The study evaluated processing technologies, equipment requirements, investment and operational costs, and potential financial returns while supporting Egypt’s sustainability and waste management objectives.

Our Role

  • Served as Consultant for the Establishment of the First Construction Waste Recycling Facility in Egypt.
  • Conducted the technical and economic feasibility assessment.
  • Evaluated material recovery opportunities for concrete, brick, metals, and wood.
  • Assessed mechanical processing technologies and equipment requirements.
  • Evaluated CAPEX, OPEX, and potential investment returns.
  • Developed strategic recommendations for sustainable C&D waste management.
