Project Overview

The project developed an applied framework for addressing solid waste management challenges in Egypt through energy recovery from organic waste. The work focused on evaluating biowaste feedstocks and developing anaerobic digestion models to optimize biogas and bio-hydrogen production.

Our Role

  • Served as Lead Technical & Research Consultant.
  • Conducted feedstock characterization and treatability studies.
  • Evaluated biowaste feedstocks for biogas and bio-hydrogen production potential.
  • Designed and operated laboratory- and pilot-scale anaerobic digestion systems.
