10th of Ramadan MBT Facility – Detailed Engineering Design

Client:

Atrium Sustainable Development (Atrium SD) – TMG.

Detailed engineering design of an MBT facility for efficient waste processing, resource recovery, biological treatment, and RDF production.

Project Overview

The project involves the detailed engineering design of a Mechanical Biological Treatment (MBT) facility in 10th of Ramadan City for Atrium SD (TMG). The facility is designed to recover valuable recyclables, biologically treat organic waste fractions, and produce Refuse-Derived Fuel (RDF), supporting circular economy objectives and reducing reliance on landfilling.

Our Role

  • Developed optimized process flows and mass balance.
  • Prepared detailed engineering drawings and facility layouts.
  • Developed technical specifications and BOQs for tendering.
  • Integrated environmental and sustainability requirements into the design.
  • Prepared a comprehensive engineering design package.

Key Impact

  • Delivered a comprehensive detailed engineering design package.
  • Optimized material flows and resource recovery processes.
  • Prepared tender-ready BOQs and technical specifications.
  • Supported sustainable waste treatment and reduced landfill dependency.
