Project Overview
The assignment covered the complete engineering design and construction supervision of the Elhossaynia sanitary landfill. The design incorporated landfill cells, sub-base and geosynthetic liner systems, leachate management, landfill gas venting, final capping, and stormwater control, supported by comprehensive construction and tender documentation.
Our Role
- Served as Main Consultant for the design and construction supervision.
- Conducted site investigations and collected data to establish design parameters.
- Designed landfill cells, base preparation, liner systems, leachate and gas management systems, and final cover.
- Prepared detailed construction drawings, technical specifications, BOQs, and tender documentation.
- Provided full-time independent construction supervision through a dedicated Project Engineer.
- Conducted quality control, material testing verification, and construction progress monitoring.
- Prepared daily site records and documentation of testing and construction activities.
