ESWMCE participated in IFAT 2026 in Munich, contributing to the international discussion on the role of waste management in addressing climate change. Environmental Specialist Maisara Mohamed represented the Center on the Orange Stage during the session “Managing Waste to Cool Down a Warming World?”, sharing insights on how improved waste management and resource recovery can support climate change mitigation. The participation also highlighted ESWMCE’s involvement in the Biowaste EgJo project, strengthening regional and international collaboration on sustainable organic waste management in Egypt and Jordan.
